The Non-Surgical Neck Lift

Excess fat under the chin (the classic ‘double chin’) and excess skin under the chin (colloquially known as ‘turkey neck’) are two very common problems as we get older and until recent years, the only solution to these problems has been invasive surgical procedures, but not anymore…
A very effective solution is the Nefertiti Neck Lift, so called because of the distinctive profile of the iconic images of the famous Egyptian queen. It works by using Botox along the jawline and neck to relax both the neck muscles and the muscles that pull the corners of the mouth downward. Results can then be further enhanced by combining the procedure with CO2 Laser Resurfacing and Radiofrequency. The overall result is a tightening of the neck, and a smoother and more distinct jawline and neck.
The Nefertiti Neck Lift has already proved extremely popular and many celebrities are allegedly undergoing the treatment, however, whilst it is non-surgical it must still be performed only by a qualified doctor. The anatomy of the face and neck is extremely delicate and complicated and the procedure involves relaxing the movement in the areas responsible for swallowing and speech, so clearly, it is important that only a doctor, with specialist knowledge should carry out the Nefertiti Neck Lift.
However, if injectables don’t appeal to you, don’t despair, as this isn’t the only option for tackling these problem areas. Ultrasound and radiofrequency treatments can be used for tightening deep layers under the neck skin and some topical treatments (ie specialists skin care ranges) can also be very effective for maintenance. If you are not averse to a minor surgical procedure, you could also consider thread lift treatment, which uses threads to lift the sagging skin along the neck and jaw.
