heavy upper eyelids & baggy lower eyelids
What are heavy upper lids and lowers baggy eyelids?
Ageing, genetics and environmental factors all have a part to play in having heavy skin on the upper eyelids. For example, the skin can become damaged through sun and lose elasticity over time and the excess skin can hang down onto the lash line causing the field of vision to be compromised. When it comes to the lower eyelids, we lose the volume, and the fat pad under the eye drops causing a gap in between the lower lid and cheek. This appears hollow and can be very ageing. The excess skin is also damaged and needs to be removed to create healthy, radiant looking eyes.
