Fractora Firm is a procedure for those who want to boost collagen and elastin production to tighten and firm skin. An excellent non-surgical, non-invasive treatment for the face and body, Fractora Firm uses radio frequency advancements to provide optimal skin contraction in the deep layers of your skin. Radio frequency energy stimulates the formation of new collagen and contract the layers of your skin for an improved appearance of the skin’s surface. For the face, Fractora Firm can treat sagging skin on your entire face or concentrate on the lack of definition in certain areas like the forehead, crow’s feet, lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls and neck.
You will start by meeting with one of our experienced practitioners to discuss your medical history, determine your eligibility, discuss details of the actual treatment and schedule a treatment time.
Fractora Firm emits the radio frequency energy via the use of thermal contraction. The practitioner will cleanse the skin and apply a thin layer of gel to the skin’s surface. A small handpiece is constantly moved across the skin and a gradual feeling of warmth can be experienced. The constant movement of the handpiece ensures radio frequency is evenly emitted. As the skin heats, the skin surface will appear pink but this will quickly settle by the time you leave the clinic. It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over 6 weeks. Individuals with mild laxity may be treated in fewer sessions with more weeks between each treatment. Fractora Firm is great as a standalone treatment or can be used in conjunction with our other laser treatments, facials or anti-wrinkle injections.
There is no downtime involved and it is essentially painless. After each session there may be slight redness in the treated area but this subsides quickly.
For best results, it is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over 6-8 weeks. After 6-8 weeks you should see an improvement in the skin, looking smoother, clearer and tighter. Once a course is completed a maintenance treatment every 3 months is often recommended to maintain results.
